Since the early 1980s, Alex. Birger Grieg AS has concluded cargo fixtures for some 120–130 catamarans built in Norway and later sold second-hand after serving Norwegian waters. These well-maintained vessels are able to run for many years to come.
In March 2014 we concluded yet another fixture for two catamarans, FJORDDRONNINGEN and FJORDKONGEN – both of the Flying Cat 46 type, built at Fjellstrand shipyard. Until 2011 they ran a liner service in Northern Norway between Harstad, Finnsnes and Tromsø.
Alex. Birger Grieg AS arranged transportation on board the heavy lift vessel GLORIA, with loading performed in the port of Bergen, and also acted as ship’s agent while the vessel was in Norway.
